Alleyway Thefts

Good Afternoon,

There have been some recent thefts in the Ashton area from back gardens which back onto alleyways. Please ensure that your gates are locked and consider installing motion activated lighting and CCTV cameras facing into your garden if possible.

We have also received reports regarding bins/rubbish bags being ripped open and rooted through. Please make sure you are not putting any documents with sensitive information into your bins and consider storing your bins inside your garden until collection day if possible.

Please report any suspicious circumstances to the police via 101 or the online reporting forms on the Lancashire Constabulary website.
